What readers should expect
Every priority Zone2 article should tell you who created it, when it was meaningfully updated and whether its conclusions come from first-hand use, editorial research or both.
First-hand reviews
A page may describe a product as tested only when the named reviewer actually used it. Strong reviews should record enough context to make the opinion useful: distance or duration, surface, weather, tester details, intended use and meaningful limitations.
Original photographs, measurements or testing notes should be used where practical. We will not invent personal experience or imply that research is physical testing.
Research-led guides
Some comparisons and buying guides synthesise reliable public information. These pages should cite important sources, explain their selection method and avoid claiming first-hand use of products that were not tested.
Training and health information
Training guidance should explain its intended audience, assumptions and limitations. Injury, nutrition and health articles require suitable sources and must not replace advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
Updates and corrections
Changing a year is not a substantive update. Material changes should be recorded when specifications, recommendations, evidence or conclusions change. Readers can report an error at jack@zone2.uk.
Affiliate links and commercial relationships
Zone2 may earn a commission when a reader purchases through an eligible retailer link. A commission must not change the price paid by the reader or determine the editorial conclusion. Paid placements and supplied products should be disclosed clearly.
Archive status
The current library is being audited after migration from WordPress. Older pages may carry an archive or refresh notice until their evidence, accuracy and distinct value have been reviewed. Duplicate pages will be consolidated into the strongest useful destination.
