Running pace calculator
Convert a completed run into pace per kilometre and mile, or turn a target pace into a finish time. No login, tracking account or watch required.
Equivalent times assume perfectly constant pace. They are arithmetic, not a prediction of what you can race.

Pace → time
Calculate a finish time
At a constant —, the calculated finish time is:
—This does not account for terrain, weather, stops, fatigue or whether the pace is sustainable for you.
How the calculation works
Average pace is total elapsed time divided by distance. Pace per mile and kilometre are converted using one mile = 1.609344 kilometres. The equivalent-distance table simply holds that average pace constant.
Real racing is not constant arithmetic. Hills, turns, surfaces, wind, temperature, aid stations and endurance change the result. Treat the calculator as a planning and review tool, not a promise.
